Xinhang Town, belonging to Guangde City, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, is located in the northeast of Guangde city. It is adjacent to Changxing County, Zhejiang Province in the East, and Liyang City and Yixing City, Jiangsu Province in the north.

It is adjacent to Changxing County in Zhejiang Province in the East, Taozhou town in the south, Qiucun town in the West and Liyang and Yixing City in Jiangsu Province in the north. According to the records of Guangde County annals (46 pages), Xinhang town belongs to Dabei township. Along to the early years of Tongzhi. According to the records of guangdezhou in the seventh year of Guangxu period, the population of Guangde decreased from 310000 in the ninth year of Xianfeng (1859) to more than 6000 in 1865 due to wars, diseases, epidemics and Tongzhi. Later, a large number of immigrants entered the country. A new book was compiled in the 10th year of Tongzhi. It was reorganized into 45 capitals according to the old city (i.e. the state) and the eight townships in the southeast and northwest. Xinhang belonged to 38 to 54 capitals in the north and small townships.

District, township and town: Liudong District governs four townships, of which Kaihua township has nine, Zhuwan is the first, Dushan the second and zhaogan the third, and Sunzhu the fourth. Liudong Township set up Datong, Luxi, Liudong, Yanggong, Guang'an, Minzhi, Nangang, Beigang and Xintang. Hangcun township is divided into 9 villages: Panjian, Leye, Henggang, Hangcun, Wucun, Ningcun, Tangka, Lequn and Jiandong. After the establishment of the county people's Government in August 1949, six districts were set up in the county, with 18 towns under its jurisdiction. Liudong district has jurisdiction over Liudong, Kaihua and Hangcun. In September 1958, according to the resolution of the CPC Central Committee on the establishment of people's communes in rural areas, 33 townships and one Chengguan town in the county were formed into six people's communes, namely Qianjin, Xianfeng, rocket, Yuejin and red flag. In February 1959, according to the provincial Party committee's stipulation that people's communes should be changed to place names, the six people's communes were renamed Chengguan, Lucun, Baidian, Shijie, Qiucun and Liudong people's communes. In September 1961, the county's eight people's communes were adjusted to 29 people's communes, with 282 production teams (including 4 residents' committees) under its jurisdiction. Among them, Liudong people's commune has 7 brigades, Pengcun people's commune has 10 brigades, Dushan people's commune has 9 brigades, Xinhang people's commune has 9 brigades, and Zhuanqiao people's commune has 8 brigades. In June 1983, communes and brigades were transformed into townships and villages respectively. In 1985, two townships, namely, CI Shan gang and Lvlin, were added. In June 1986, Dushan and Shijie were changed into townships; in September, Liudong was changed into townships. In 1987, the county was divided into 26 townships, 5 towns, 281 villagers' committees, 4 residents' committees, 4032 villagers' groups and 78 residents' groups.
