Huifa Town, belonging to Fangzheng County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the west of Fangzheng County, adjacent to Deshan Township in the East, Baoxing Township in the southeast, Jiaxin town of Yanshou County in the south, Shengli town of Bin County in the west, and Tianmen Township in the north. The town government is located in Huifa village, 15 kilometers away from Fangzheng county government. The area is 468.48 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
The name of Huifa town comes from huifaheng. The name "huifaheng" began in the late Qing Dynasty. It is said that it was the name of a firm with a growing population, so it was called "huifaheng". In 1909, the first year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty, settlement was formed.
During the period of the Republic of China, huifaheng street was under the jurisdiction of the Second District of Fangzheng county.
After the fall of Northeast China, it was initially called huifaheng town and later changed to huifaheng village.
After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, huifaheng district was set up.
In 1950, it was renamed the Second District, and the district government was stationed in huifaheng village.
In March 1956, huifaheng township was set up.
