Guanji has a long history, formerly known as Guandukou and shuangheji. In 1948, shaci district was established. In 1950, Guanji township was established. In 1958, people's commune was established. In 1961, Guanji district was established. In 1992, Guanji town was established when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged.

Guanji Town, located in the northwest of Anhui Province, is under the jurisdiction of Taihe County, Fuyang City. It is 10 kilometers away from Taihe County in the West. The town government is located on the West Bank of the confluence of CI River and Gu river. It is adjacent to Santa town in the East, Guomiao Township in the north, Zhaoji Township in the south, Chengguan town and Jiuxian town in the west, and 013 county road runs through it.
Historical evolution

The old generation of famous calligraphers and painters include Zhang Heyun, sun Zhongjin, Zhang penglv, etc. the contemporary famous calligraphers and painters include Zhang zujiu, Liu Jicheng, Hu Liping, Wang Jinquan, Dai Yunfei, sun Hu, Liu Dongfang, etc.
Zhang penglu
Male, born in March 1898 in Fuyang, Anhui Province, died in 1994 at the age of 96. Chinese freehand painters have a deep study of Chinese traditional literature. He used to be a deputy to the National People's Congress of Taihe County and a librarian of Anhui literature and History Research Institute, and was known as a "peasant artist". At the beginning of the founding of new China, Mr. Zhang penglu participated in the establishment of local medical and health institutions. He has made unique research and achievements in traditional Chinese medicine. In his life, he created many prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine and helped the world for many years. He has helped the local people relieve countless cases of complicated diseases and is deeply loved by the local people.
Zhang zujiu
Born in 1927 in Santa Town, Taihe County, Anhui Province, he studied painting since childhood. He studied painting with the help of Liu Yuying and Li Boying. In 1946 and 1947, he held two art exhibitions at Zhongshan Memorial Hall in Fuyang, Anhui Province, which made a sensation. He was 19 years old. The extant picture of Osprey shows his youthful spirit. At that time, Fuyang daily made a special report on it, praising him as "a small man with high talent and boundless future". In the 1940s, Zhang zujiu studied in the Fine Arts Department of Shanghai Teachers College. In the late 1940s, as an ideal new China, he went to the southwest with his pen. Before liberation, he held two personal art exhibitions. Later, he studied in Shanghai, specializing in traditional Chinese painting. In 49 years, he joined the army in Sichuan. Although he wasted time and went through many storms, he still kept on writing. He is especially good at small freehand brushwork of flowers and birds. His works are deeply loved by all walks of life and are also treasured by overseas friends. In 1998, he participated in the mainland famous artists' calligraphy and painting exhibition held in Taiwan, and published volume I and Volume II of Zhang zujiu's painting collection. His works and biographies are included in various art books and celebrity painting and calligraphy collections.
Liu Jicheng,
In 1943, Liu Jicheng was born in Taihe, Anhui Province, the hometown of calligraphy and painting. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Anhui Academy of Arts, and then spent three years in Anhui Quju troupe. In 1966, he entered the Fuyang cultural center. At that time, the Cultural Revolution was in full swing outside. However, he took the risk to organize local painters and art teachers and held more than ten art training classes. Later, Liu Jicheng heard that there were many farmers in the Wangzhai group of Wangdian commune, not far from Fuyang, who were good at painting. So he went to the group to train the local farmers' painters several times and organized their works to be published. Among them, 3 peasant paintings were published by the provincial publishing house, 26 peasant paintings participated in various exhibitions, and several of them were also exhibited in national exhibitions and won awards. Even in the exchange with painters, Liu Jicheng also began his new year painting career and achieved fruitful results. Among them, the New Year picture "add new granary" created by him in 1975 was published three times in Beijing and Anhui, which had a great influence. In the 1970s and 1980s, Liu Jicheng began to study paper cutting again and made great achievements. In 1989, his work won the first prize in the first national paper-cut competition; in 1993, the Anhui paper-cut team led by him won the organization prize in the China Art Exhibition; in 1996, his work "Erlong Xizhu" won the first prize in the national color paper-cut exhibition; in 2001, his paper-cut work "brother lianghao" won the first prize in the China folk custom competition In 2006, Liu Jicheng was named "the first master of Arts and crafts in Anhui Province". Since 2007, he spent more than a year in designing and creating more than 30 large-scale paper-cut "Ode to the gold medal of China's Olympic Games". This work vividly shows the appearance of 112 gold medal winners in China's Olympic Games through vivid cutting and engraving. On August 8, 2008, on the day of the Olympic Games, the capital museum displayed 28 pieces of "Ode to China's Olympic gold medal" created by Liu Jicheng and his paper cutting team. Liu Jicheng has not only made great achievements in art, but also spared no effort in helping other artists. He has helped more than 10 poor paper-cut artists find a fixed job, and pushed their works to large and small exhibitions.
Hu Liping

Wang Jinquan (1962 -) also known as Hu Jie, Wang Zhenxi, zhaihao, pingchou Shanfang, Yilian thatched cottage. Anhui Taihe people.
