Aer Township
Aer Township, subordinate to Zhangwu County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Zhangwu County and the south edge of Horqin sandy land, with an administrative area of 147 square kilometers.
It used to be the front banner of Horqin Left Wing in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In 1949, after the flag was withdrawn, it was assigned to the Tenth District of Zhangwu County. In 1956, when the township was designated, it was aerxiang Township directly under the county. In 1961, aerxiang commune was established. In 1966, aerxiang commune was transformed into aerxiang livestock farm. In 1979, it was directly under the central government of Fuxin city. In 1990, it was changed to aer township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Al township was 5879. As of June 2020, aer township has jurisdiction over three administrative villages: aer village, beidianzi village and paoziyan village.
In 2011, the general budget revenue of aer township was 23.5 million yuan, an increase of 57.4% over the previous year.
