Cuoe town
Cuoe Town, belonging to Sanyuan County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northern tableland of Sanyuan county. It is adjacent to Lingqian town in the East, Longquan town of Jingyang County in the south, Shiqiao Town of Chunhua County in the West and Chunhua County in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 14 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 10.7 kilometers, with a total area of 77.71 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, cuoe town has one community and seven administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 24441. In 2011, the gross agricultural output value of cuoe town reached 257 million yuan, the gross industrial output value reached 154.16 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 118.45 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is named for its location at the foot of cuoe mountain.
In 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of baicuo district.
In December 1958, cuoe commune was established.
In September 1961, after the original small county system was restored, it was divided into cuoe commune and Hongshui commune.
In 1983, it was changed into cuoe Township and Hongshui township.
In 2001, Hongshui township was withdrawn and merged into cuoe township.
In 2011, cuo'e town was set up from the township.

Cuo'e town is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain, with cuo'e mountain in the West (also known as Qiaomao mountain), high in the West and low in the East. The highest point is located at the top of the steep mountain, 1409 meters above sea level, which is also the highest point in the county; the lowest point is located in ZhangYue village, 500 meters above sea level.

Cuo'e town has a warm temperate semi-arid continental monsoon climate. It is characterized by four distinct seasons, sufficient light, long frost free period, dry and windy in spring, concentrated rainfall in summer, mild and cool in autumn, dry and cold in winter and less snow.
