Zhangshan town is located in the middle of Lai'an county, Anhui Province, in the northeast of the county, adjacent to the county, 312 provincial road across the town. The total area of the town is 98.4 square kilometers, including 44000 mu of cultivated land, 5000 mu of barren mountains and 5000 mu of water surface. The whole area is characterized by high in the north and flat in the south. In the north is the 20 Li Changshan of Jianghuai watershed, in the south is alluvial plain, in the north is yellow sand soil, and in the south is Magan soil. The town has a population of 25000 and nine villagers' committees. The town has obvious industrial advantages and has formed three pillar industries. Zhangshan township was established in 1950, a commune was established in 1958, and the township was changed in 1984. In 1992, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Changshan township. In 1996, it covers an area of 87.9 square kilometers and has a population of 22000. Vegetable planting
Taohua village, Zhangshan Town, takes advantage of its location advantages and no industrial pollution. Water and soil meet the favorable conditions of vegetable production. Aiming at the market demand, Taohua village vigorously develops pollution-free vegetables with good quality and obvious characteristics. By 2006, more than 4000 mu of vegetable greenhouses have been built in the village, including 2000 mu of leek, 1000 mu of water bamboo, 1000 mu of lettuce, Wogua, cucumber and other vegetables. In 2005, the per capita net income of the village was 4180 yuan, of which vegetable income accounted for 60%. In 2010, the per capita net income was 8750 yuan driven by Taohua village, Zhangshan town vigorously promoted the agricultural industrialization, and the scale of vegetable planting continued to expand. By 2006, more than 3000 of 5300 farmers in the town had developed vegetable production, covering an area of nearly 20000 mu. Zhangshan town gives full play to the role of cooperative organization and professional market, takes the peach blossom vegetable market with daily marketing of 100 tons of vegetables and annual turnover of 60 million yuan as the platform and window, realizes the docking of small farmers with large markets, and the vegetable products are exported to Shanghai, Nanjing, Hefei, Yangzhou and other large and medium-sized cities. Forest and fruit industry
The 200 mu fruit demonstration base has been built in the forest and fruit station. Aquaculture industry
Zhangshan town makes full use of the northern mountain farms and reservoirs to vigorously develop livestock and poultry breeding, forming a grass chicken and turkey breeding base based on Luoding village, a cattle and sheep breeding base based on goutan village and Chengang village, and a duck and goose breeding base based on Sungang reservoir, Guantang reservoir and Dagang reservoir.
