Liangting town
Liangting Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Susong County, Anqing City, Anhui Province, is located in the northeast of Susong County, at the junction of Susong and Taihu counties.
Liangting town is 22 kilometers away from Susong County and 20 kilometers away from Taihu County. The town is 9 kilometers long from east to west and 5.5 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 86.98 square kilometers. It governs 9 administrative villages and 1 community, with a total of 381 villager groups and a population of 39887 (2017). The town has 31000 mu of arable land, 57000 mu of mountain farm and 9700 mu of water area.
Liangting town has always been a place of elegant, outstanding people and abundant resources. The Liangting River, which originated in Dashan District of Zhifeng Township, is clear and clean, passing through the town all the year round, dividing the town into two parts: Hedong and Hexi. The densely populated old town is close to the river, which has the artistic conception of "people pillow the river as much as possible".
Historical evolution
According to records, in April 184 BC, after the Han Dynasty, the Marquis of Songzi was placed in xiantianpu beside the Liangting river. In the fifth year of the first year of the Han Dynasty (AD 5), it fell to Songzi County, so Liangting river is called Jiuxian river. During the reign of emperor Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty, the magistrate Shipu built a place on the Tinghe River, which was used as a resting place for "postal merchants and travelers", so it was renamed Liangting river. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, business and trade flourished, so the town was officially established and named Liangting River market town. Before liberation, it was the northern third district. During the second Civil Revolutionary War, the 27th army of the Chinese workers' and peasants' red army launched a struggle in the territory and established a red regime. Liangting district was set up at the beginning of liberation. In 1951, it was divided into Liangting district and Zhangfan district. In 1954, it was merged and named after Liangting river. In 1960, the district was changed to commune and the township to administrative district. After the restoration in 1961 until the reconstruction of the town system in 1992, it has been the residence of District, township and town, governing the original Liangting and Liuxi two small townships.

Located in the northwest end of Susong County, the town is the junction of two counties (Susong County and Taihu County) and five townships (Zhifeng, Hetao, Boliang, Chengxi and Jiangtang townships of Taihu County). It is 90000 km long from east to west and 55000 km wide from south to north, with a total area of 860000 square kilometers. It belongs to hilly area and subtropical monsoon climate type.

It has nine administrative villages and one community, including Liangting community, zi'an village, Taiyang village, Sande village, Xiajia village, Fenghuo village, Qingzhu village, Dongshan village, Liuxi village and Fengyi village, with a total of 381 villager groups and a population of 39887 (2017). Liangting community is located in the center of Liangting market town, with a total land area of 5.8 square kilometers, 3058 mu of arable land, 1143 mu of mountain farm, 800 mu of water surface, 41 resident groups, 1190 households, 4536 agricultural population, including 125 party members, and two party branches. Zian village is located in the northeast of Liangting Town, adjacent to Liuxi, Fenghuo, Taiyang, Fengyi and Doushanhe village. The traffic in the village is developed, and Liangtai highway runs through the East and West. Lianhua to Puji, Fengyi to Zian highway is connected north and south, forming a vertical and horizontal traffic pattern. Taiyang village is located in the north end of Susong County, where it meets Liangting market town. National Highway 105 and Hejiu railway run through the whole village. Liangzhi highway, taixiang highway and tailiu highway are closely connected. It is located in the center of the new planning of Liangting Town, which is a typical three side ring town center. There are 34 natural villages and 47 villager groups in the village, with a land area of 16 square kilometers, more than 1300 households and more than 5300 people. The area of cultivated land is more than 5000 mu, the area of mountain farms is more than 6000 mu, there are more than 70 bridges, more than 130 ponds, one river and two small rivers pass through the village, and the environment is beautiful. Sande village is located in the southwest edge of Liangting Town, is a hilly area, surrounded by land. Hejiu railway, 105 National Road through the village, convenient transportation. The village covers an area of 13.7 square kilometers, with 6300 mu of arable land, 5000 mu of mountain farm and 960 mu of water surface. It is the largest village in Liangting town. The village has 74 villager groups, 1686 households, 6848 agricultural population and 380 non-agricultural population, including 184 party members and 24 female party members. The village has three branches. Xiajia village is located in the hilly area of Southern Dabie, with a total area of 8.9 square kilometers, 37 villager groups, 1098 households and 3964 people, including 84 party members. The total area of cultivated land is 3356 mu, including 2872.29 mu of paddy field, 523.50 mu of dry land, 8765.4 mu of mountain farm and 850 mu of water surface. There is 105 national highway passing through it and Hejiu railway running through it. Planting is the main source of its economy, with a per capita income of 2312 yuan. Fenghuo village is located in the southeast of Liangting Town, adjacent to Doushanhe village, Hetao township. It has 25 villager groups with a total population of more than 3300. The total area of the village is 7800 mu, the mountain area is 3600 mu, and the land area is 2600 mu. There are 72 party members, including 9 female party members. Liangmao and Liangyou highways run through them. Qingzhu village is located in the northwest of Liangting Town, Susong County, 25 kilometers away from the county seat, with a land area of about 6.8 square kilometers, the highest altitude of 1250 meters and an annual average temperature of 20 ℃. There are 2574 mu of basic farmland, 6646 mu of mountain farm and 27 villager groups in the village. There are 668 agricultural households and 2980 agricultural population, including 52 party members. The main income sources of the villagers are planting, breeding and migrant workers. Dongshan village is located in the north gate of Susong, covering an area of 103000 square kilometers, with 28 administrative villagers' groups, a total of 672 households and 2718 people. The area of cultivated land in the village is 1773.49 mu, including 1673 mu of paddy field and 100 mu of dry land; the area of mountain farm is 9600 mu, including 940 mu of timber forest, 8480 mu of ecological forest and 180 mu of fruit forest. Liuxi village is located in the northeast corner of Susong County, adjacent to Wuxing village, Jiangtang Township, Taihu County in the East, Puji village, heta Township in the south, Zian village, Benzhen town in the West and Fengyi village in the north. Liangtai highway, 318 highway and Liuxi River pass through the village from west to East, which is a typical remote village at the junction of Taiyuan and Suzhou. The village has 36 villager groups, 66 natural villages, more than 860 households and 3500 people, with a total land area of 6.8 square kilometers. The village has 3280 mu of cultivated land, including 624.56 mu of dry land, 2655.44 mu of irrigated land and 4400 mu of mountain farm. There are 75 bridges and 216 ponds. Fengyi village is located in the north gate of Susong County, at the junction of Taisu county and Taisu county. It was named after a post station built in Fengyi street in ancient times. National Highway 105 and Hejiu railway run through the whole village.
Infrastructure
In 2006, the township party committee and government combined with the planning of Liangting market town new area, invested 20 million yuan, acquired 28 mu of land, demolished the old post office and Liangting umbrella factory, and built a new Hedong Village in the north end of the market town. Hedong new village is designed by the county planning and Design Institute. In addition to five new streets with a total of more than 400 meters, it also has a leisure square of 4700 square meters. The new village is connected with national highway 105 in the East, Liangting River in the west, and Liangzhi highway leading to baiyazhai, a tourist resort, across the river. In order to further accelerate the development of Liangting town and support tourism development, Qingdao Wantong company donated more than 1.4 million yuan to build a new highway bridge on Liangting River, which is 47 meters long and 9 meters wide. The bridge was completed at the end of November 2007 and opened to traffic at the end of 2007. It is a convenient channel between national highway 105 and baiyazhai tourist highway. After completion, the route from national highway 105 to baiyazhai will be shortened by about 1.8 km, with significant social benefits.
economic development
Liangting town has a population of 39887 (2017), 18 administrative villages, 375 villager groups, 2147.2 hectares of arable land, 3819.7 hectares of forest land and 17000 labor force. There are 52 units directly under the town, with complete facilities and services. The town is rich in bamboo, wood, tea, chestnut and "Yushan Xuezao", which are sold in and out of the province. "Liuxi Yuye" tea won the gold medal of national agricultural products. There are many scenic spots and historic sites, especially the "Yan Gong Shi Dao" and "Bai Ya Zhai". Liangting town is a traditional production base of Yushan jujube, especially the birthplace of Yushan jujube in Liangting community. in order to promote the development of agricultural industrialization and increase farmers' income, Liangting town cooperated with Anhui Jingzhou Food Co., Ltd., a provincial leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization, to establish Asparagus Planting Base in Liangting town in early 2008. 150 mu asparagus are planted in the base. In order to ensure the demonstration and leading role of the base, the Party committee and government of Liangting town clearly assigned special personnel to contact the daily work of the base. The main person in charge visited the base regularly and listened to the reports, so as to solve all kinds of difficulties in production for the growers in time and improve the enthusiasm of the growers.
traffic
Liangting town has convenient transportation. National Highway 105, Hejiu railway and Hurong Expressway run parallel through the town from north to south. National Highway 105 runs through the town for 14.8 kilometers, and there is a train platform beside the town. Liangting town has abundant porcelain clay resources. Within a radius of 10 kilometers, the porcelain clay reserves reach more than 50 million tons. The porcelain clay has excellent quality, convenient mining and low mining cost. It only needs open-pit mining, and rural roads are built to all mining points.
