Huainingwan town belongs to Zizhou County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southeast of Zizhou County, adjacent to Tianzhuang town of Suide County in the East, shizuiyi town of Qingjian County in the south, peijiawan town and tuoerxiang town in the west, and Miaojiaping town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 15 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 19 kilometers, with a total area of 150 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
Xia helianheng occupied Chang'an and captured Liu and Song people to settle here. He named Huaining village after his hometown. During the reign of emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1661), Huaining Bay was built and lived in this river bay.
Before its establishment, it belonged to Qingjian County.
In 1944, it belonged to peijiawan District of Zizhou county.
