Xiatang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changfeng County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the middle of Changfeng County. It was formed in 2006 by the merger of the original Taohu Township, Buli Township and Xiatang Town, with a total area of 228.77 square kilometers (in 2017), 9 villages, 15 communities and 76256 people (in 2017). Xiatang is adjacent to Zhuangjia Township in the East, Bailong town in Feidong County, Yangmiao town in the west, taolou Township and Shuangdun town in the south, Yijing Township and Zhuxiang town in the north. It is one of the first pilot towns of expanding power and strengthening power in Anhui Province, one of the first pilot towns of town level city construction in Hefei City, one of the first pilot towns of economically developed administrative system reform in Anhui Province, and an important satellite city in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province.
