"Tuanpu, in the six capitals, is the place where the water transport passes through." RuoHeng bridge, Shen Mingren "Ping Wo Ji Lue" for Nie Wang Bridge, place name without orthography, random book In 1930, when niewang bridge was rebuilt, a piece of stone was found with the words "niewang bridge" engraved on it. Shen Mingren's record is true. The name of RuoHeng is another legend: Qi Jiguang chased the Japanese along the Yunliang river when he was pacifying the Japanese pirates. He asked his staff about the place name, but they didn't know it. He caught a glimpse of a large RuoHeng leaf lying on one side of the pier and answered "RuoHeng" casually. Qi Jiguang wrote it down on the military map. This is the name of RuoHeng. legend has it that tuanpu has two families, the Jiang family and the Lin family. They often fight for the boundary. After a proposal to brown Ruo floating water demarcation. Historical evolution
In the early Ming Dynasty, panma inspection department was set up in the east of the town, which was the place where the Fu County troughs were transported. In the Ming Dynasty, rice from Huangyan and Taiping counties was transported to songmenwei, chumensuo and aiwansuo to prepare grain for anti Japanese officers and soldiers. In 1661, because of Zheng Chenggong's resistance to the Qing Dynasty, the Qing government believed that the coastal residents helped the volunteers and sent Shang Shu Su Nahai to Taizhou to create a no man's land. At this time, the residents of haishili in the southeast of Taiping County moved to the mainland. Outside the Mucheng, the river was dug to protect it. It is from the new river, Tangxia RuoHeng Town, he Yunliang River to Songmen. In the eighth year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1669), zhanfu moved out of the boundary. However, the countryside was still deserted. It was not until Zheng Kelong surrendered in 1922 that the boundary was completely restored. After that, the river was dredged many times. For example, in 1871, the rivers were dredged through RuoHeng. In 1932, Yunliang River and Sicheng River were dredged. In 1942, Mucheng River and ruosung River were dredged. From 1930s to 1940s, Yunliang river was the main channel in the east coast of Wenling, and RuoHeng town became its middle hub. At that time, there were 20 tons of small steamers running from Haimen through RuoHeng to Songmen (Haisong line). During the Anti Japanese War, Haimen was blocked, and another route from RuoHeng to Songmen was opened. The route from xinheshiqianqiao to Songmen via RuoHeng has been smooth before and after the Anti Japanese War, and is still the North-South waterway transportation link. The navigation capacity of Mucheng River, Yunliang River and ruosung river is about 20 tons. Tributaries are Sicheng River, Fanshen River, Maqiao River and Xiajin river. These cobweb like small and medium-sized river ports connect the East and West, North and south of the town, and encircle the old urban area. Before liberation, RuoHeng had no roads to other places. It was these waterways that made it navigable. In 1673, it was RuoHeng village. Qianlong 28 years (1763), for tuanpuzhuang. In 1916, it was RuoHeng town. In 20 years, RuoHeng town and tuanpu Township were set up respectively. 24 years and RuoHeng town. After liberation, RuoHeng Town, Zhendong Township and Taihe Township were set up in 1950. RuoHeng Town, Zhendong Township in 1956. RuoHeng town was merged in 1960, and Shanqian Township and Baifeng Township were merged in 1992. In 2002, Dongpu town, Gaolong Township and Guanzhuang Township were merged.
Economic and social development
RuoHeng is not only an important agricultural town in Wenling, but also an economic center in the east of Wenling. Since the Ming Dynasty, RuoHeng has dredged the Yunliang River, and transported the grain from Huangyan and Taiping counties to Songmen and other places, which is still the transportation link between the north and the south. Yulin watermelon, the main local product, is famous both inside and outside the province. It is not only planted in 15 provinces and cities in China, but also developed to Myanmar. In September of Jinjiu, if you come to see the ancient seaside town, the picture there is very beautiful. Green clothes have been unloaded from the fields, and the endless golden rice has been swept by waves, and the galloping carriages have filled every household's granary. In the distance, the river is full of sails, and the buildings in villages and towns stand tall, showing a thriving scene. Even the wild geese flying south did not forget to send the book of Yulin watermelon planting technology to Myanmar. This is a typical epitome of agriculture, rural areas and the prosperity of farmers, all over China. In the past 20 years of reform and opening up, under the leadership of the party and the government, the industrious and intelligent RuoHeng people have increased their pressure, worked hard, worked hard, and made pioneering efforts. With the vigorous development of economy and society, they have gradually formed a benefit agriculture development mode with Yulin watermelon, broccoli, laver, greenhouse vegetables as the main body, and straw weaving, auto parts, candy, stone carving and other pillar industries In addition, transportation, electric power, communication, health, education and other social undertakings are also undergoing new changes, and their status in the whole national economic system is increasing day by day. RuoHeng town is composed of RuoHeng, Gaolong, Dongpu, Guanzhuang and Shanqian. It covers an area of 107.93 square kilometers, accounting for 1 / 9 of the city. It has 89086 mu of cultivated land, including 10 square kilometers of planning area and 4.6 square kilometers of built-up area.
