Hengdian town
Hengdian Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dongyang City, is located in the south central part of Dongyang City, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. It is located between 29 ° 05 ′ 23 ″ - 29 ° 13 ′ 17 ″ N and 120 ° 14 ′ 10 ″ - 120 ° 22 ′ 12 ″ e, adjacent to Huxi town and Mazhai town in the East, Nanma town and Qianxiang town in the south, Nanshi street in the west, Chengdong street in the north, 18 km away from Dongyang City, 90 km away from Jinhua and 180 km away from Hangzhou The area is 116.34 square kilometers (2017).

History of construction
In the fourth year of Xianping in Song Dynasty (1001), it was established as a township. In the 16th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1480), there was Liangdu city. In the later period of Wanli, it was established as hengdianyi City, and the Nanjiang river beside the town was connected with boats. In the late Qing Dynasty, it became a distribution center of commodity exchange around the city.
In 1944, Hengdian town was established.
In 1949, Hengdian township was built.
On December 25, 1952, Wuning town was changed into Wuning district and Hengdian into a district town.
In November 1957, Huxi district was restored and Hengdian township was under its jurisdiction.
On March 28, 1958, Huxi district was abolished, and Hengdian Township under its jurisdiction was transferred to Nanma district. On July 6, Pingyan township was transferred to Hengdian Township, and then Hengdian township was divided into Pingyan and Hengdian administrative areas, which were transferred to Huxi people's commune.
On February 14, 1959, Hengdian management area was changed into Yuyang and Dongxi management areas. On December 15, Yuyang and Dongxi management areas were merged into Hengdian management area.
In 1961, it was changed into a commune.
In 1983, the township was changed.
On February 12, 1985, Hengdian township was changed into an established town.
On January 31, 1986, Hengdian town was changed into a town directly under it.
On November 16, 2001, Hengdian town was abolished and Hengdian street was set up. It has jurisdiction over 95 villages and 13 residences. The office is located at No. 16 Fuqian Road (the former government residence of Hengdian town).
In 2003, Hengdian street was abolished and Hengdian town was established. It has jurisdiction over 67 villages and 41 neighborhoods. The town government is located at No. 16 Fuqian Road, Hengdian (the former residence of Hengdian Street Office).
In 2006, five administrative villages in Nanshan street, including mashanqian, fuxiantang, wuguantang, Jinma and Lianmeng, were assigned to Hengdian town. After the adjustment, Hengdian town governs 11 administrative villages and 10 communities, while the town government remains unchanged.
In March 2013, Huanlong village of Nanshi street was officially entrusted by Hengdian town.
