Si'an town
Si'an town is located in Changxing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The regional area is 234.96 square kilometers (2017), of which the built-up area of the town is 2.4 square kilometers, and the resident population is 76549 (2017). It is a provincial central town. Si'anji town is 18 kilometers away from Guangde City, 30 kilometers away from Anji County and 28 kilometers away from Changxing County. It is located in the northwest corner of Zhejiang Province. The provincial border is 20 kilometers long in Si'an.
In November 2017, Si'an town was awarded the fifth national civilized village.
In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association confirmed Si'an town as a national health Township in 2019.
Historical evolution
Si'an town was built in Sui Dynasty, with four gates of Chang'an, Guang'an, Ji'an and Yi'an, so it was named Si'an; it was also named because it was square and wide, or to protect Wuxing, Yixing, Guzhang and Guangde. It is said that in modern times, the town developed westward into Shang'an, Zhong'an and Xia'an, and had waterways to connect with Hu'an, Hang'an and su'an. Therefore, adding three points of water to the word "Si" is called "Si'an". In 1949, when liberation, Jian Zheng Si'an town was the resident of the District People's government. In October 1958, nearby Minzhi, Changchao, guandai, Xianshan, guanan and other townships were merged to establish Si'an commune. In October 1961, when the scale was adjusted, the system of Si'an town was restored. Si'an commune was separated from guandai commune in April 1980 and changed to township in 1983. In July 1984, Si'an township was incorporated into Si'an town. In 1996, it covers an area of 42.3 square kilometers and has a population of 22000. It has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, including Sanliting, Bailian, Fenghuang, Shilian, Changlian, Tangwan, Zaoshan, wulidu, Dazhuang, qianjiatang, Wangjiashan and Zhaocun, and five neighborhood committees, namely shangsi'an, zhongsi'an, Pingqiao, Chaiwan and Yingju lane. In 1998, Xianshan Township and guandai Township were abolished and merged into Si'an town. At the end of 2000, zhezhengfa No. 288 approved to abolish the system of Si'an town and Changchao Township, merge and establish a new Si'an Town, which governs 51 administrative villages, 8 residential areas and is located in Fenghuang administrative village.
Xizhi village is located in the east of Si'an town. It borders guandai village in the East, Bailian village in the west, Zaoshan village in the South and Yuquan village in the north, with a total area of 5.73 square kilometers. The terrain is high in the South and North and low in the southeast. There are 720 households and 2520 people in the village. It has 13 contracting groups, with 4380 mu of cultivated land, including 4350 mu of paddy field. Xizhi village has a general Party branch and three party branches, with 60 party members and 5 team members, with an average age of 45.
In 2009, the total output value of Xizhi village was 93.2 million yuan, and the per capita income of farmers was 12420 yuan. The agricultural production is mainly dominated by seedlings and special aquatic products. The village has a special aquaculture base of 1500 mu, mainly for turtle, mandarin fish and river crab, with an annual output value of more than 6 million yuan, 1 seedling base of more than 400 mu and 6 seedling bases of more than 50 mu. The village has developed 3800 mu of seedlings and 150 seedlings of vegetables
Xianshan village is located in the west of Si'an Town, bordering 04 provincial road in the East, Si'an reservoir in the west, Xinfeng village in the South and erjieling Township in the north, with a total area of 4.86 square kilometers. The terrain is unique and the environment is beautiful. There are 568 households with a population of 1986. In April 2002, in order to strengthen the construction of the central village, the people's Government of Si'an town adjusted 51 administrative villages into 24 administrative villages, which were merged from the original Xianshan village and the new second village. Under the jurisdiction of 10 contracting groups, the cultivated land area is 2598 mu, of which the paddy field area is 2195 mu.
Erjieling village is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces south. It has four distinct seasons and is hot and rainy in the same season. The territory has beautiful mountains and rivers, mild climate, green mountains and fields, crisscross streams and excellent ecology. There is a erjieling reservoir (Wanghu) in the area, with a water area of more than 2000 mu. There are islands in the lake, with beautiful scenery and boundless beauty. You can see the beautiful scenery of "egrets flying in front of Xisai mountain, peach blossom flowing water, mandarin fish fat" in the South of the Yangtze River. Erjieling village is a hilly area, rich in land resources, with a total area of 7.23 square kilometers. The terrain is hilly. The village has 528 households and a population of 1860. It has 15 contracting groups, with 3232 mu of cultivated land, including 2300 mu of paddy field.
The territory is rich in products. Two of Changxing's "three treasures" are produced in Qingmei and chestnut. According to records, green plum has been planted since the Tang Dynasty. The area of green plum in the village is more than 1000 mu, with an annual output of tens of thousands of tons. The fruit quality is excellent, and it is favored by consumers in Japan and Southeast Asia. According to the records of emperor Taizu of Ming Dynasty, in October of the 15th year of Hongwu, Huzhou Minjin new chestnut and erjieling chestnut were listed as tribute in Ming Dynasty.
Xinlian village is located in the west of Si'an Town, 2km away from the center of the town. It is adjacent to zhongsi'an street in the East, Xianshan Lake in the west, Xianshan village in the south, Taiping Village and chukang village in the north. The old 318 National Road runs through the area. The 12 provincial roads are connected with the main roads of the village. The village is in a strip shape, distributed on both sides of Si'an street, belonging to Pingyuan area.
The village covers an area of 1.74 square kilometers, with 1598 cultivated land, including 61 mu of dry land and 250 mu of pond. It has 3 natural villages, 9 villager groups, 503 households and 1758 people. In 2012, the per capita income was 17873 yuan, and the collective economic income of the village was 680000 yuan. Cement products, electrical equipment, catering services and clothing processing were the pillar industries of the whole village, and grain, seedling and breeding were the leading industries of agriculture.
