Tudian town is located in the southeast of Tongxiang City, at the junction of Haining City and Jiaxing Xiuzhou District.

Shanghai Hangzhou Expressway runs through the whole town and has a Tudian pass. Salt Lake highway passes through the town.

Tudian town is one of the top 1000 towns in China and one of the top industrial towns in Zhejiang Province.

History of construction

Tudian, formerly known as Shijing, is the sub center of Chinese culture.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was renamed Tudian town.

Since 2008, it is striving to create "national health town" and "national beautiful environment town", reaching the standard in 2009.
