Dingxing town
Dingxing Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dingxing County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Dingxing county and is the resident town of the people's Government of Dingxing county. It is adjacent to tiangongsi town and Liyuzhuang Township in the East, Beitian Township and Beihe town in the south, dongluobao Township across the South Juma River in the west, Laishui county and Gaobeidian City in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 8 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 14 kilometers, with a total area of 65.87 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Dingxing town registered residence was 100233.
In the sixth year of Jin Dading (1166), Dingxing county was established, and the county was established by Huang village of Fan Yang. In the seventh year of Jin Dading (1167), Dingxing, a native city, began to be built. In 1984, it was renamed Chengguan Township, and in the same year it was renamed Chengguan Dingxing town. As of June 2020, Dingxing town has jurisdiction over 23 neighborhood committees, 26 village committees and one similar neighborhood committee. The people's Government of Dingxing town is located at 74 Tongxing Street West Road. Dingxing town has a national key cultural relics protection unit - Ciyun Pavilion.

Historical evolution
In the sixth year of Jin Dading (1166), Dingxing county was established, and the county was established by Huang village of Fan Yang.
In the seventh year of Jin Dading (1167), Dingxing, a native city, began to be built.
In July 1948, it belonged to three districts of Dingxing county.
In 1953, it belonged to Chengguan Town (under the jurisdiction of haojiafang and Xicheng) and dujiace township.
In 1958, it belonged to Chengguan commune (including Chengguan now).
In 1961, there were three communes: dongluobao, zucundian and Zhoujiazhuang.
In 1953, Chengguan town was established.
In 1984, it was renamed Chengguan Township, and in the same year it was renamed Chengguan Dingxing town.
In early 1996, zucundian Township and Zhoujiazhuang Township were merged into jiandingxing town.
