Beitaipingzhuang street is under the jurisdiction of Haidian District, Beijing. Founded in 1957, Beitaipingzhuang street is located in the southeast of Haidian District, bordering Xicheng District. It starts from the Second Ring Road (Jishuitan Xizhimen section) in the south, Zhichun Road in the north, xinjiekouwai street in the East and Jingbao railway line in the west, covering an area of 5.17 square kilometers. Historical evolution

Beitaipingzhuang sub district office of Haidian District was established in May 1957. In August 1958, the office was merged into the newly established Dongsheng people's commune, and in April 1959, it was merged into Qinghe commune with Dongsheng commune, which became a management system of political and social integration as the Department in charge of the work of non-agricultural residents within the commune. In 1959, the office set up an office and three workstations, namely Beitaipingzhuang, Dazhongsi and Wudaokou. In 1962, the people's commune was reorganized, and the Beitaipingzhuang sub district office of Haidian District was restored to a separate system.
