Fuwen Township
Fuwen township is a township under the jurisdiction of Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the east of Chun'an County. It is adjacent to Jiande City and Tonglu County in the East, Danzhu in the south, Wenchang town in the north and Qiandaohu town in the West. Fuwen natural village, where the township government is located, is 17.5km away from the county seat in the southwest. There are three roads leading to the county seat. It takes only 20 minutes to drive to the county seat, and only 10 minutes to drive to the exit of HangQian highway. The traffic conditions are unique. It covers an area of 151 square kilometers and governs 10 administrative villages and 84 natural villages with a population of 6384 (2017).
Historical evolution
It belonged to Qingping Township in the 25th year of the Republic of China. In 1950, it established political power and belonged to four townships, namely Muchuan, Fangjia, Wangzhai and Jiancun. In 1956, it was adjusted to two townships, namely Fuwen and Jiancun. Fuwen commune was established in 1958 and merged into Wenchang management area in 1959. In 1961, Fuwen commune was rebuilt and the commune management committee was established. In 1984, it was renamed Fuwen Township People's government and named after Fuwen natural village.
Geographical resources
The territory is surrounded by bad mountains. The terrain inclines from northeast to southwest. The mountains are high and deep, and the peaks are stacked. The elevation is generally between 300 meters and 1000 meters. The elevation of Yangshan and BAISHIYAN on the East and North borders are 921 meters and 978.3 meters respectively. The elevation of zigaojian, which connects with Jiande City, is 1018.8 meters, which is the highest mountain in the countryside. Qingpingyuan (also known as fuwenxi), which originates from the west slope of BAISHIYAN, the main peak of Maoling, is the main stream running through the whole territory. The upstream is divided into chongkeng, dazhangkeng and two streams. The water of the two streams respectively flows through ChaLin, fangjiapedo, zhangkengkou and Jubi to join in Muchuan, and flows southward to Qiandao Lake through Fuwen and Zhucun. Cultivated land and villages are distributed along both sides of the stream. Damaoling reservoir is built with a total capacity of 1.72 million Li meters and an irrigation area of 148 hectares. The installed capacity is 200 kW and the annual power generation is 36 kwh.

Fuwen township is rich in tea, Chinese fir, pine, and is also a strong township for livestock and poultry in Chun'an County. The main mineral resources include limestone, calcite, grayish green stone, etc. There are 8 industrial enterprises in the township, mainly focusing on the development of wood products, natural water and mineral resources. In accordance with the working idea of "seizing the opportunity, consolidating the foundation, paying equal attention to agriculture and industry, and speeding up development", the Party committee and government of Fuwen township have made rapid development in the fields of agricultural structure adjustment, development of processing with supplied materials, investment promotion, town construction, infrastructure construction, environmental optimization, etc. In 2004, the total agricultural income of the township was 104.89 million yuan, the industrial profit was 2.61 million yuan, the investment was 3 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3966 yuan. In 2006, the total rural economic income was 139.65 million yuan, an increase of 13.6% over the previous year; the total industrial output value was 50.2 million yuan, and the industrial sales output value was 50.07 million yuan; the per capita net income of farmers reached 4806 yuan. Fuwen village, Fuwen Township, is 10 km away from Fuwen Township, surrounded by mountains. The annual average temperature is 2-3 degrees lower than that in other parts of Fuwen township. The difference in temperature leads to low grain yield in Fuwen village. After careful analysis, the village cadres found that the natural climate conditions were suitable for planting off-season vegetables, so they adjusted the agricultural structure and planned to transfer 200 mu from 300 mu paddy field in Fuwen township to establish off-season vegetable production base. Fuwen village committee actively supports the villagers to develop the production of off-season vegetables, and the villagers are given a subsidy of 50 yuan per mu of off-season vegetables. Fuwen village of Fuwen township has established and improved the agricultural technology service network of villages and village groups, and often invited agricultural technology experts from Chun'an County to teach agricultural technology knowledge.
