Chenjiapu Town, subordinate to Yutian County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Yutian County, bordering sanshuitou town in the East, shijiuwo town in the south, guojiaqiao town in the west, yangjiabanqiao town in the southwest and Hongqiao Town in the north, with an administrative area of 37.3 square kilometers.
In 1953, chenjiapu township was established; in May 1983, the people's commune was abolished and chenjiapu township was restored. On January 14, 2021, chenjiapu township was abolished and chenjiapu town was established. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Chen Jia Pu town was 16933. As of June 2020, chenjiapu town has 42 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in chenjiapu village.

History of construction
In 1953, chenjiapu township was built.
In 1956, five townships including lijiapu, zhongjunpu, jiangchapu, chajiapu and chenjiapu were merged into chenjiapu township.
In 1958, it was changed into chenjiapu management area of Hongqiao people's commune.
In 1961, Chen Jiapu people's commune was established.
In May 1983, the people's commune was abolished and chenjiapu township was restored.
On January 14, 2021, chenjiapu township was abolished and chenjiapu town was established.
