Chick town
Qike Town, subordinate to Xunke County, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the north of Xunke county. It is connected with Chelu Township in the East, Songshugou Township in the south, Ganchazi Township in the West and Russia across Heilongjiang Province in the north, with a total administrative area of 419.44 square kilometers.
In the middle of 17th century, Qike town was the hunting habitat of Oroqen people; in 2009, Qike town was renamed from frontier town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of chick town was 11694. In 2019, Qike town governs 16 administrative villages.
In 2018, Qike town has one industrial enterprise and 14 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the middle of the 17th century, it was a hunting habitat for the Oroqen people.
Around the 26th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1900), two or three Manchu families settled in huashulinzi village, which was under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang vice governor. In December 1909, the first year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty, qiketekalun was set up under Zhili Hall of Huihui. In 1911, qikete Street base was planned and released.
In 1946, the West was divided into the second district (Ganchazi District) and the East into the first district (Qike District).
In 1956, Baihe township was set up in caodiyingzi village in the west of the township, and frontier township was set up in xiaodingzi village in the East.
In 1957, Baihe and frontier towns were merged into Qike town.
In 1965, the frontier commune was established.
In April 1984, the frontier commune was transformed into a frontier township.
In 2001, frontier Township and Qike town merged into frontier town.
In 2009, the border town was renamed Qike town.
