Buzi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Sucheng District, Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, is located 15 kilometers southwest of Suqian City, covering an area of 44.01 square kilometers. Buzi town has a gentle terrain and a warm temperate monsoon climate. By 2020, Buzi town has 3 residential communities and 11 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in jiebei community. History of construction
Buzi flourished in the middle of Ming Dynasty, and its original location was on the Bank of Buzi lake. Buzi town's commerce and market trade rose in Xianfeng (1831-1861) of Qing Dynasty, developed in tongzhi (1862-1875) and Guangxu (1871-1908) of Qing Dynasty, and flourished in late Qing Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty (1911-1912).
In Ming Dynasty, Buzi was led by Xiaoyi township of Suqian county.
In the early years of the Republic of China, it was changed into Buzi city.
In 1929, the city and township were changed into districts. Buzi city is the Fifth District of Suqian county.
In 1933, Suqian merged 10 districts into 8 districts, and Buzi was the fourth district.
In 1945, Buzi was liberated. Buzi was under the leadership of the neighboring county-level government.
In 1948, Buzi was divided into Buzi District of SISU county.
In 1949, SISU County disintegrated and Buzi was changed into Buzi District of Suqian county.
In 1957, Buzi district was abolished and Buzi township was established, which was still under the jurisdiction of Suqian county.
In 1958, the people's commune, the implementation of political and social integration, Buzi Township renamed Buzi people's commune, referred to as Buzi commune.
