Linze town is located in the northeast of Gaoyou City, at the junction of Gaoyou, Baoying and Xinghua, 31 kilometers west of Gaoyou city. General situation

1、 Construction division

In ancient times, Linze County government was named after its proximity to lakes and swamps.

The spring and Autumn period belongs to Wu Han Valley, and Yue and Wu belong to Yue.

In the Warring States period, Chu belonged to Chu. The destruction of Chu by Qin Dynasty belongs to Qin Dynasty.

In the fifth year of Yuanshou, Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty (118 BC), Gaoyou was established as a county, and Linze gradually became a market town, belonging to Gaoyou.

In 472, Linze was separated from Gaoyou county and established as Linze County for 111 years, which was subordinate to Hailing County of Yanzhou.

In 583, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty abolished the county system, and Linze was incorporated into Gaoyou county.

From the first year of Daye (605) to the Qing Dynasty, Linze belonged to gaoyoujun, Chengzhou, Lu, Fu, Zhou and Xian.

According to the records of Gaoyou Prefecture written by Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty, "Linze town is 90 Li in the northeast of the prefecture. Linze County was established in Dayu of the Song Dynasty, and it was merged into Gaoyou in the early Sui Dynasty. Now it is a town.".

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Gaoyou county.

Since the founding of the people's Republic of China, the system of districts, townships and villages has been implemented, and Gaoyou county is still under its jurisdiction.

In September 1958, the system of people's commune, production brigade and production team was established, and Linze and Zhouxiang people's communes were established.

In June 1962, Chuanqing and Yingnan people's communes were set up.

In 1983, the village system was restored by withdrawing social organizations and building townships, which were renamed Linze, Chuanqing, Zhouxiang and Yingnan townships respectively.

In October 1990, Chuanqing township was built from township.

In May 2000, Linze town and Chuanqing town were abolished and Linze town was established as its administrative region.

In September 2013, Gaoyou municipal Party committee and Gaoyou Municipal People's government held a mobilization meeting for the adjustment of administrative divisions of Gaoyou City on September 3, 2013: abolish Zhouxiang town and Linze Town, merge the original administrative regions of Zhouxiang town and Linze Town, and establish a new Linze town.
