Qindong town

Qindong town belongs to Dongtai City, Jiangsu Province, where Jianling county was originally located. It is adjacent to Hai'an city in the East, Jiangyan District of Taizhou City in the south, Xinghua City in the north, close to Ningjing salt Expressway, 229 provincial road, Qinhuangdao highway, national waterway, and Taidong river. Qindong town belongs to Dongtai City, Jiangsu Province. It is located at the junction of salt, Tongzhou and Thailand. Historical evolution

In 1948, Qindong district was under the jurisdiction of Dongtai, Jiangsu Province. In February 1952, Qindong district was transferred to Shiyan district. In 1957, Qindong district was transferred to Qindong Township from Shiyan. In September 1958, Qindong township was transferred to Shiyan to establish Shiyan people's commune. In 1959, Qindong people's Commune was transferred from Shiyan to establish Qindong people's commune. In April 1968, Qindong commune reform committee was established. In March 1969, Qindong commune Committee of the Communist Party of China was restored In August 1987, the people's Government of Qindong township was established, and in July 1987, the township was withdrawn to establish Qindong town.

It is located in the east of Qintong Town, Jiangyan district (10 li away), hence the name.
