Fanggezhuang Town, belonging to LUANNAN COUNTY, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of LUANNAN COUNTY, bordering songdaokou town in the East, Daxiang Gezhuang town in leting County in the southeast, yaowangzhuang town and Hugezhuang town in the south, sigezhuang town in the west, and Luocheng town in the north, with an administrative area of 53.42 square kilometers.
In May 1946, it belonged to the five districts and Chengxiang District of LUANNAN COUNTY; in February 2002, xiwantuo management area, which was entrusted by Hugezhuang Town, merged with Fangezhuang management area, which was entrusted by Luocheng Town, to establish Fangezhuang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Fang Zhuang town was 30022. As of June 2020, Fanggezhuang town has jurisdiction over 29 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Fanggezhuang town is located at No. 2 Fumin Road, Fanggezhuang village, Dongdu.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Fanggezhuang town was 5.81 million yuan, an increase of 83.8% over the previous year. History of construction
In May 1946, it belonged to five districts and Chengxiang District of LUANNAN COUNTY.
In May 1953, Fanggezhuang township was established.
In July 1954, it was transferred to 12 districts of Luanxian county.
In July 1956, it belongs to dongwantuo township.
In September 1958, the township was withdrawn and belonged to Hongguang people's commune; in November of the same year, it belonged to Hugezhuang people's commune in leting county.
In June 1961, Fanggezhuang people's commune was established.
In January 1963, it belongs to LUANNAN COUNTY.
In May 1984, the people's commune was abolished and Fanggezhuang township was established.
In January 1996, Fanggezhuang township was abolished and Fanggezhuang office was set up; in April of the same year, the office was changed into a management area, which was managed by Luocheng town.
In February 2002, xiwantuo management area managed by Hugezhuang town was merged with Fangezhuang management area managed by Luocheng town to establish Fangezhuang town.
