Cuihua Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Daguan County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, is located in the south of Daguan County, Yunnan Province. It is the seat of Daguan county and the political, cultural and economic center of Daguan county. It has achieved the goal of connecting every village with roads. It has rich tourism resources and is known as "the hometown of waterfall in China".
The highest altitude is 2324m and the lowest is 700m. The total area of cultivated land is 816 hectares, the area of returning farmland to forest is 9760 mu, and the forest coverage rate is 18%. In 2004, the fiscal revenue of the whole town was 1669100 yuan. The area is rich in tourism resources, including the national 2A Huanglian River scenic spot, the "hometown of Chinese waterfalls", Lingguanyan stone carvings and Longdong stone carvings that witness the history of Daguan, as well as the natural landscapes such as "Bijia Zhaohui" and "Cuiping evening photo" among the ten scenic spots of Daguan. In 2017, the administrative area was 154.81 square kilometers, with 43167 permanent residents.

Cuihua town is located in the south of Daguan County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, between 27.36 ′ - 28.15 ′ N and 103.43 ′ - 104.07 ′ E. It is adjacent to Qinglong Township and Tianxing town in the East, Yuwan town in the south, Huangge Township and Yuele town in the west, and Huangge Township in the north. It is 43.7 km wide from east to west and 73.2 km long from north to south. Daguan county has a total land area of 154.81 square kilometers. Among them, the valley area is 214.9 square kilometers below the altitude of 1100 meters, accounting for 12.7% of the total area; the low mountain area is 425.5 square kilometers above the altitude of 1100-1500 meters, accounting for 25.15%; the high mountain area is 639.1 square kilometers above the altitude of 1500-1900 meters, accounting for 37.77%; and the cold mountain area is 412.5 square kilometers above the altitude of 1900 meters, accounting for 24.38%. Cuihua town is located on the East Bank of the upstream of Guanhe River in the south of the county, with an altitude of 1120 meters. It is 450 kilometers away from Kunming, the capital of Guizhou Province, 69 kilometers away from Zhaotong City in the south, 610 kilometers away from Chengdu, 221 kilometers away from Yibin in the north, 400 kilometers away from Chongqing, and 531 kilometers away from Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province.

The county is high in the north and south, and low in the middle. The highest altitude is 2785 meters and the lowest is 492 meters. Except for luohanba, Dazhai, Huodi and Ganding, which have a total of 12 square kilometers of flat land, the rest are all V-shaped hillsides. There are 73 main peaks, belonging to Wumeng Mountain system and wulianfeng mountain system. There are 5 main rivers and more than 30 streams, all of which belong to Jinsha River system, with runoff area of 1688.8 square kilometers. Historical evolution
In the early years of the people's Republic of China, Cuihua town was based on urban and rural areas (governing today's Huangge Yongkang administrative village). In 1941, it was changed into Bishan town. In April 1950, it was changed into Chengguan Town (a small township level institution). Together with today's shanggaoqiao Township, Qinglong Township and Yuwan Town, it was divided into the first district of Daguan county. There are more than 8600 mu of tea gardens with an annual output of 100 tons, an output value of 3 million yuan and a profit tax of 360000 yuan. In tea processing, Cuihua tribute tea series products have been formed: Cuihua tribute tea, Cuihua Kuding tea, Cuihua Zhenmei, Cuihua bamboo leaf tea, etc.

Cuihua town is rich in water resources with superior water conservancy conditions. Daguan River and Sayu river run through the territory. There are 379 small water cellars in the town, 157 kilometers of sanmianguanggou have been built, and the degree of water conservancy is 40.5%.

Cuihua town is the seat of Daguan County, with obvious location advantages. The national highway "213" passes through the territory, with convenient transportation. There are 28 rural highways in the town, 487km in length, 540km in traffic mileage, 23km in class 2 highway, 5.5km in class 3 highway, 28 rural highways, and 76 villages have been connected, accounting for 71%. Marked by the construction of two comprehensive farmer's markets covering an area of 7200 square meters in December 2005, Cuihua market town has taken on a new look, completely ending the history of "taking roads as the market" and small, dirty, chaotic and poor market towns. The current land use of Qinglong market town is 8 square kilometers, including 1 Wenhua street, 1 baishuncheng street, 1 nanshancheng street, 1 Beimen street, 1 Nanmen Street, 1 Yuanmen street, and 2 comprehensive farmers' markets. Human history
In ancient times, it was an important traffic road between Yunnan and Sichuan. In the Qin Dynasty, Wuchi road was opened to pass through the southwest. Xia and Shang belonged to Liangzhou and Zhou to doudidian. In the Han and Jin Dynasties, Zhuti county was located. In the Sui Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Gongzhou, the general manager of Nanning Prefecture. In 618, the first year of Wude in Tang Dynasty, Xi'an and Hujin counties were under the jurisdiction of Xiezhou. In Nanzhao period of Tang Dynasty, the county was a part of Donglong aban. In Song Dynasty, Dali was the land of Wumeng. Emperor Shun of the Yuan Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Wumeng Road, Sichuan Province. In 1382, the 15th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Wumeng Prefecture, Yunnan's chief political officer. The next year (1383) it was under the jurisdiction of Wumeng Prefecture in Sichuan Province. In the fifth year of Yongzheng (after 1727) of the Qing Dynasty, the county was under the jurisdiction of Wufu in Yunnan Province, and daguanting was set up in the sixth year (1728). In 1913, it was renamed Daguan County, belonging to the middle of Yunnan Province. In 1943, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhaotong administrative inspector's office. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the people's Republic of China was liberated in April 1950, under the jurisdiction of Zhaotong special region of Yunnan Province. In 1970, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhaotong district. Now Zhaotong area is changed into prefecture level Zhaotong City, and Daguan still belongs to it. In October 1981, it was promoted to a district level organization and the people's Government of Chengguan town was established. In December 1982, it was renamed Cuihua town. In 1988, five small townships in the former Cuihua district were assigned to Cuihua town. In 1993, the town governed seven offices, namely, Bishan, Cuiping, Jinhai, Jinping, xiongkui, Tianba and Lianhe. After the Village Reform Commission, the original Bishan sub district office was divided into two community residents committees, and the other offices were renamed villagers' committees.
