Nanpu Town, belonging to LUANNAN COUNTY, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of LUANNAN COUNTY. It is connected with Jiunong farm and Liuzan town of Caofeidian District in the East, Bohai Bay in the south, Bohai Sea in the west, Nanpu Xinsheng salt farm, bogezhuang town and Tuoli town in the North, with an administrative area of 26.14 square kilometers.
In May 1946, it belonged to the coastal area of LUANNAN COUNTY; in April 1993, it was withdrawn from the township and Nanpu town was established; in February 2002, Yangling town was incorporated. History of construction
In May 1946, it was located in the coastal area of LUANNAN COUNTY.
In May 1953, Nanpu township was established.
In July 1954, it was transferred to the 14th District of Luanxian county.

In September 1958, the township was withdrawn and belonged to Botao people's commune; in November of the same year, it belonged to Nanbao people's commune in leting county.

In May 1984, the people's commune was abolished and Nanpu township was established.
