Idiom story
During the Three Kingdoms period, during the war in Hanzhong, Huang Zhong, a general of Shu, killed Xia Houyuan, a general of Wei, and seized the strategic place. Cao Cao moved Micang to the foot of the north mountain beside the Han River and led the army to attack Yangpingguan. Huang Zhong advises Zhao Yun to attack Beishan. With Zhao Yun's consent, he sends troops to ask Huang Zhong to rob food and grass. However, for the sake of caution, before leaving, Zhao Yun and Huang Zhong agree on a time before they let Huang Zhong go to the army. Huang Zhong does not return to the village after the expiration of the time limit. Zhao Yun leads his troops out of the village to meet Cao Cao's troops. Zhao Yun fought with Cao Jun, fought and retreated, during which he rescued Zhang Zhu. Cao Cao didn't give up. He directed the troops to chase Zhao Yun and attack the Shu camp. Zhang Yi, Zhao Yun's deputy general, saw that Zhao Yun had returned to his village, and his pursuers were fierce, so he wanted to close the gate and refuse to defend. Zhao Yun ordered the camp to be opened and stopped. He also ordered the bowmen to lie in ambush inside and outside the village and wait for the enemy. The suspicious Cao Cao chased the gate of the village and thought that when the gate was wide open, there would be ambush, so he ordered to retreat in a hurry. Just as Cao Cao's army turned around and retreated, the golden drums in the Shu barracks were singing in unison, killing the sky and shooting arrows at Cao Cao like rain. In horror, Cao Jun trampled himself and fell into the Han River, drowning countless people. The next day, Liu Bei personally came to the Zhaoyun barracks to inspect the fighting place and said with admiration, "Zilong is full of courage!"
