Biography of characters

Born in February 1917, he graduated from Changzhou Yanling middle school in 1931. He is a researcher of Beijing Library and retired. He took part in the revolution in 1936, and successively served as a cadre of Shanghai Kaiming bookstore, General Administration of publication of the people's Republic of China, a researcher of the reference research department of Beijing Library, a member of the Chinese character Reform Commission, a member of the national Chinese character collation group, and chief editor of the general bibliography of the Republic of China.

Life of the characters

Long term engaged in Chinese characters, collation, publishing and Chinese characters information processing standardization research. It has won one second and third prizes of national science and technology progress, two first prizes and one second prize of Ministry of culture. Since 1992, he has received special allowance from the State Council.
