Jing Shen, a poet of Tang Dynasty, was born in Nanyang of Dengzhou (now Nanyang of Henan Province). He was Emperor Xianzong of Tang Dynasty and served as the Minister of rites in Taichang temple. During the reign of Mu Zong Changqing, he was still in the court, but later he was unknown. He once wrote a preface to the sound and meaning of all classics. He is also good at poetry and books. There is one of his poems in the whole Tang Dynasty.
