In the first year of Jingyun, Emperor Shang abdicated and Emperor Ruizong ascended the throne. In the third year of Jingyun, Tang Ruizong passed the throne to Li Longji.

Li Dan (June 22, 662 - July 13, 716), the first name of Tang Ruizong, was Li Xulun and Li Lun. Li Zhi, the eighth son of Tang Gaozong, the fourth son of Wu Zetian, and Li Xiantong, the mother and brother of Tang Zhongzong. He ascended the throne twice in his life and gave way to the world three times. He reigned for eight years from the first year of civilization to the second year of Zaichuan (684-690) and from the first year of Jingyun to Yanhe (710-712). In 690 ad, Wu Zetian was granted the title of emperor's heir. He ascended the throne again in 710. In 712 ad, Li Longji (Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty), the son of Zen Buddhism, was called the supreme emperor. He died in five years. At the age of 55, he was buried in Qiaoling of Tang Dynasty. Temple name Tang Ruizong, posthumous title XuanZhen great sage Daxing emperor.
