The road of football
Five years old, Nanchang Street was blocked by him
Cheng Liang's football affinity comes from his father who died early. Since childhood, Cheng Liang is tall and good at playing football. Therefore, his father specially trained him to play football. When Cheng Liang was four years old, his father began to teach him football. Early learning and investment, so that the future of Chengliang has a good sense of the ball and technology.
When he was a child, his father taught him a lot of technical movements, and often asked him to use his left foot to carry the ball, pass and shoot. Over time, Cheng Liang's left foot is also skilled. Many years later, the reason why Cheng Liang was able to successfully transform from a right footed player to a left footed player after entering COSCO was related to his father's education in his childhood.
When Cheng Liang was a child, his family lived in Nanchang Street, Dongjiadu. People who lived next to Cheng Liang's family said that there was a father and son on Nanchang Street who played football all day and worked tirelessly. A neighbor of that year also told such a story. "Because of their love of playing football, the father and son often blocked the whole Nanchang Street. When Cheng Liang was 5 years old, he had an abandoned factory in Nanchang Street. His father used chalk to draw a circle in the iron gate of the factory, and let Cheng Liang shoot in the distance. If the ball kicks into the circle, he will succeed.
20 years old, missed Shenhua
Cheng Liang's football road is a typical "late success". He was born in 1977, an awkward age. He was too young to play the last National Olympic team, but over age to play the next one. As a result, when Shen Si, Xie Hui and other senior brothers, two or three years older than Cheng Liang, were selected into the National Olympic team and became popular all the way, the National Olympic team was so far away from Cheng Liang - a bit like Wang Yun, Cheng Liang's teammate in the international team. Because he didn't wear the national team's robe, Cheng Liang's reputation will be greatly affected, and his football road will be more bumpy than others.
In 1995, Cheng Liang was selected into the Shenhua youth team from the junior sports school, thanks to Xu Genbao. A year later, Cheng Liang was transferred to Shenhua first team. At that time, Shenhua team was full of talents in the forward line, so Cheng Liang didn't get the chance to play in the league, only occasionally got the chance in one or two Invitational games. In 1997, as a member of the Shenhua youth team, Cheng Liang was selected into the Shanghai Eighth National Games football team. Unfortunately, in this event, Cheng Liang still did not get any chance to play. After the Eighth National Games, Shenhua team recruited many players from Baosteel football team. Even if it is to crush the scalp, who are willing to enter the Shenhua first team. Finally, the first-line staff overstaffed, Cheng Liang for various reasons, lost the best opportunity to continue to enter the Shenhua team. In 1998, Cheng Liang had to join the then Pudong team.
I am most grateful to Xu Genbao
In 1995, it was Xu Genbao who recruited Cheng liang from the city's junior sports school into the Shenhua youth team. In 2001, when Xu Genbao was in charge of COSCO, he still gave Cheng Liang enough opportunities to play and let him play his talents.
"Xu has been very good to me and has given me a lot of opportunities." Cheng Liang said, "my parents have always taught me that when others treat you well, they should know how to be grateful. Xu is a coach who has helped me a lot in my football career and I will never forget him. I am very grateful not only to Xu, but also to other people who have helped me. "
27 years old, won the main position
Many of the defenders in Shanghai football are from the vanguard background, including Bian Jun and Wu Chengying, and Cheng Liang is no exception. When he was young, because of his outstanding height, Cheng Liang was the best candidate for the center position. However, the years of playing forward are gone forever.
Goal scoring record in youth
From the beginning of entering Putuo District less sports school, Cheng Liang played the forward position. Even when he was selected into the junior sports school and Shenhua youth team, he was still a forward and always the main center of the team. In 1995, when he played for Shenhua youth team, Cheng Liang was the main shooter in the team. In that year, Cheng Liang and his team participated in the Youth League of domestic clubs. As a result, in that year's League, Cheng Liang scored in almost every game, scored more than 30 goals in more than 20 games, and scored more than one goal per game, setting a record for the youth team.
