Liu Yu
Liu Yu (1073-1146, October 18) was born in Fucheng County, Hebei Province. The puppet emperor of Jin Dynasty.

In the second year of Jianyan (1128), he paid homage to the magistrate of Jinan Prefecture. Seeing the chaos in the north, he planned to flee to Jiangnan as an official, but was rejected by the consul. When the Jin army besieged the city, they killed the brave general Guan Sheng and fell. In the fourth year of Jianyan (1130), he was granted the title of "emperor of Qi" and established the capital of Daming Prefecture. The book had the words "Shi Xiu Zi Li" and so on. He used the year name of "Tian Hui" of Jin Dynasty and changed the Yuan Dynasty to Fuchang according to the order of Jin Dynasty. In 1132, Fuchang moved the capital to Tokyo, and sent his sons Liu Lin, nephew Liu Ni, Song Dynasty rebel Li Cheng, Kong Yanzhou and others to cooperate with the Jin army to invade the Southern Song Dynasty and capture Xiangyang and other places. In 1134, Yue Fei defeated Li Cheng and recovered Xiangyang. Liu linhui, his son, was sent to invade Huainan and suffered repeated defeats, which led to the growing dissatisfaction of the Jin Dynasty.
In the seventh year of Fuchang (1136), the Central Plains militia was recruited to attack the Song Dynasty on a large scale without the assistance of the Jin Dynasty, which led to a great defeat and retreat. In the following year, he was abolished as king of Shu. In the Jin Dynasty, he abolished the puppet Qi, moved to Shangjing and became king of Cao.

Liu Yu was born in a farming family. He lacked education and virtue when he was young. He once stole his classmates' platinum cups and gauze clothes. During the reign of Yuan Fu (1098-1100), Liu Yu was a Jinshi in the examination. In the second year of Zhenghe (1112), he was appointed as the imperial censor in the palace. He was attacked by the remonstrating officials. Huizong of Song Dynasty didn't want to expose his past scandals, so he issued an imperial edict not to pursue them. In March of 1129, Wanyan zongbi (Wanyan Wushu) heard that Zhao Gou had crossed the Yangtze River, so he sent Liu Yu to know Dongping mansion, and served as a pacifier in the East and west of Beijing and Huainan. He controlled Daming, Kaide mansion, PU, bin, Bo, Di, De, Cang and other prefectures. Liu Lin was the magistrate of Jinan, and Liu Yu was in charge of the south of the Yellow River.

On July 27, the fourth year of Jianyan (1130), the Jin Dynasty sent Datong Yin Gaoqing descendant and zhizhigao han to confer Liu Yu the title of emperor. In December, Li Heng, the governor of Xiangyang, defeated Liu Yu's troops in Yangshi, took advantage of the victory and went to Ruzhou, where he surrendered to the city of Pengwang.
