Zhang Ye

Zhang Ye, born in April 1957 in Shulan, Jilin Province, Han nationality, joined the Communist Party of China in November 1983 and started work in September 1975. He graduated from Wuhan University of water resources and electric power in January 1982, majoring in water conservancy and hydropower engineering construction. He has a postgraduate degree and is a professor level senior engineer. He enjoys the State Council government subsidy.

He is currently a member of the Party group and deputy director of the office of the south to North Water Diversion Project Construction Committee of the State Council.

Biography of characters

Since 1982, he has been a technician, engineer, section chief, deputy director, project manager, assistant director and deputy director of Sinohydro Bureau 7. In July 1996, he served as director and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of the seventh water resources and Hydropower Engineering Bureau of China. He served as chairman, general manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of China Gezhouba Group Corporation in November 2000. In July 2004, he served as director and Deputy Secretary of the Party group of the construction administration bureau of the Middle Route Project of South to north water diversion. In December 2007, he served as a member of the Party group and deputy director of the office of the south to North Water Diversion Project Construction Committee of the State Council.
