Zhang Yun, with the name of Yun and the name of Cangzhen, was born in Shenshan, Jinzhou (now Fushan, Shanxi).

Profile

Birth and death: 653-745 Taoists. He had been in the cave for 15 years and was familiar with the secret scriptures of the immortal books and the nine classics. Later, he traveled to famous mountains and was good at alchemy and transformation. Empress Wu was called in the holy calendar and did not go. After living in Luoyang Li Qiao family for 13 years. In 719, Xuanzong summoned him to Zhanlu hall. Soon after, he still listened to him return to the mountain. The deeds can be seen in Volume 40 of the book of true immortals and Tao in all ages and volume 7 of the book of three caves. He has written 10 volumes of Gao Shi Zhuan, 20 volumes of Shenxian Ji and 30 volumes of a Dong Ji, but none of them exist. There are three poems in Quan Tang Shi.
