He is a famous alchemist, health practitioner and philosopher in Tang Dynasty. Zhang Guo was promoted as the ancestor by later generations of Xingming family. Personal profile
According to the records of Fen Jin Lun, during the Kaiyuan period of Emperor Xuanzong, Li Zhen studied Xing Ming from Lao Guo. He recorded the two people's questions and answers and handed them down to later generations. They are collectively called Li Zhen's questions and answers. The contents of Li Zhen's questions and answers include Xiantian Xinfa, Houtian pithy formula, Zhibao Lun and Fen Jin Lun, Taking some famous figures in the Tang Dynasty as examples, this paper uses Xingming theory to deduce fate, calculate fortune and its causes. Although there are not many words, they are very wonderful.
Life story
Zhang Guo said in xiantianxinfa that the study of Xingming belongs to the immortal way, and the world changes into a light one, so it should not be taught casually. The skill of pushing life must be studied in detail. First of all, we should look at a person's master Yao, that is, the master of his life palace star degree, and then look at his body star, that is, the master of his moon star degree. It is based on twenty-eight nights and eleven Yao. The essential factors of human life lie in the five aspects of official happiness, the rich and the poor, the virtuous, the stupid and the young. The core of astrology is around these contents. There are many specific examples, which Zhang Guo explained to Li Chen one by one.
Zhang Guo explains the fate of some famous figures in Tang Dynasty, including Yang Guozhong, Yixing, Yao Chong, an Lushan, Pei Ji, Tang Xuanzong, Li Linfu and Wang Bo. Now, I just take Wang Bo's star destiny as an example, and I quote it as follows.
Wang Bo's order is to stay on the wing (where the sun is), which belongs to fire. At this time, mercury is staying on the wing, which is called water retreating sunrise on the grid. At this time, the water is the official Lu palace, and the water retreats to the Chaoyang grid has two meanings: one is the official Lu Chaoyang, the other is the official Lu Ke Ming. However, Jupiter can give help (because water makes wood and wood makes fire), and Ziqi (one of the four remaining) can stay on the wall and nourish its life. Kui and Bi are the mansion of articles. Ziqi is located in Kui and Bi, which is in contrast with the palace of life. Therefore, it can nourish the life. Judging from these factors, he was a good scholar (wood, purple, gas, water and sun are also called Wensu), and he was able to establish himself by name (this is the result of the official salary Chaoyang). However, because water is the owner of Lu, the official Lu Ke's life will be defeated because of his fame. When it hits Jinxing and lives in Dousu, the limit is in Jingsu, and the gold and wood are in the opposite position. The contrast between the two is the relationship of opposing and restraining each other. Jinkedoumu (Duel wood, jinchudou, so kedoumu) also conquers Jingmu, and the limit of its life is in the well, which indicates that the top degree of its life is in the well. The Yue Bo and Luo (two of the four remaining) who hit the target, one was the leading edge and the other was the leading edge. They fought against each other, which was not good for their lives. And this year belongs to Ding, Yang blade is near, must be evil death. According to "ancient and modern books integrated art volume 570", Wang Bo drowned at the age of 29.

Folktales
Zhang Guo's story of becoming an immortal
In the early Sui Dynasty, a fat boy was born in a vegetable farmer surnamed Zhang in Dongxiao, Zongcheng County, Xingzhou. Zhang Jia asked a fortune teller to check the eight characters of the young master. He said that the eight characters of the young master's birthday were very good, his fortune was great, and his fortune was great, and he would be the right fruit in the future, so he named Zhang Guo. In order to make Zhang Guo promising, Zhang also paid a lot of money to hire a private acquaintance in Zongcheng city to teach Zhang Guo poetry and prose. Zhang Guo saw that it was not easy for her parents to grow and sell vegetables in the morning and in the dark, and often helped her parents with the garden after finishing their homework.
Zhang Guo made Zhang's garden famous very quickly, especially the purple root chives he cultivated were loved by the city's dignitaries. As soon as Zhang Guo's chives came into the market, they were sold out. In a few years, Zhangjia became a well-known family of Xiaokang. Zhang Guo simply gave up his fame and devoted himself to growing vegetables. The surrounding villages saw that Zhang Guo had made a fortune in growing vegetables and abandoned farming. Even the monks of Honglong Temple hired Zhang Guo as a teacher to learn how to dig wells and grow vegetables. For a time, the nearby farmland of Zongcheng was full of green leek gardens. The output of leek increased and the people in the city could not consume it. In order to prevent the unsalable leek, Zhang Guo began to return for a long distance, and he used to pay attention to it Riding a donkey to Xingzhou and Taiyuan to sell leeks, Zhang Guo's leeks are fresh and delicious, and the price is reasonable, so many ordinary people enter Xingzhou and Taiyuan.
Once, on the way to Xingzhou, Zhang Guo was blocked by a beggar like man on a grass bridge in Shiyi. When Zhang Guo got off the donkey, he saw a lame man who was dying of illness. He was kind-hearted and invited a doctor to take medicine and take good care of him. When he learned that the lame man was no one else, it was tie Guai Li who came to make him an immortal, he gladly agreed and went to the west mountain of Xingzhou with tie Guai Li To practice Taoism. Later generations called the grass bridge in Nanhe County Shanyou bridge, and the west mountain of Xingzhou Xianweng mountain, commonly known as zhangguolao mountain.
A few months later, when Zhang Guo came home, he saw that the garden had dried up and the leeks had withered. He jumped into the well, swayed, and the well overflowed. In a short time, he poured the garden all over. It is said that Zhang Guo has come back. Three families in the village ask him to help them cut wheat. Zhang Guo agrees. The next day, three Zhangguo in three wheat fields were cutting wheat. When passers-by came home, they saw Zhangguo snoring. People said Zhangguo had become an immortal.
In the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Xuanzong sent an envoy to summon Zhang Guo and drive him into the palace. He saw Zhang Guo's childhood and Hefa, preaching and preaching. He was granted the title of doctor Qinglong, Mr. tongxuan, and ordered the construction of Qixia Temple. The folk called him zhangguolao, and later generations called his hometown zhangguozhai. Today, there are still "Zhang Guo Lao Shang Lu Tai", "Zhang Guo Lao Cai Yuan", "Zhang Guo Lao Jing" and Qixia Temple sites in zhangguozhai village, beitangtuan Township, Guangzong County. Even Zhang's tombs have been properly protected by the villagers as sacred relics.
Is Zhang Guo always immortal or ordinary
"The stone bridge in Zhaozhou was repaired by Lu Ban, and the jade railings were left behind. Old Zhang Guo rode on the donkey bridge, and Lord Chai rolled a ditch with his cart. " A popular folk song "small cattle", put the back riding donkey on Zhaozhou Bridge with the sun, moon and stars in the girdle to test the quality of the bridge project, and with Lu Ban's Zhang Guo Lao fixed in the legend of Zhaozhou Bridge. Du Deyuan, the governor of Zhaozhou and poet of the Song Dynasty, also left such a poem: "Sui people choose stones to build Hongqiao, which is famous all over the world. Where does the fairy ride on a donkey go? It's still very clear to this day. " From then on, Zhang Guo, a strange old man, had an indissoluble bond with the famous bridge. So, is there an old Zhang Guo in history?
According to the records of the book of Tang Dynasty, the old name of Zhangguo is Zhangguo, which is honored by the word "Lao". He is a legendary immortal and the oldest of the eight immortals. It is said that he was born in Xingzhou in Tang Dynasty, and now ZhangGu (Guo) village in Guangzong County is his hometown. There is Xianweng mountain in the west of Xingtai, commonly known as Zhangguo mountain. Zhang Guo, who had acquired the Taoist skills of wanqiu, Tieguai and Li Zhuxian, lived in seclusion in Zhongtiaoshan of Hengzhou and traveled between Fen and Jin Dynasties. Wu Zetian of Tang Dynasty was hundreds of years old. Empress Wu Zetian once sent envoys to summon them, but pretended to die. Later generations saw that she lived in Hengzhou mountain. Tang Xuanzong, a good immortal, summoned him several times to seek immortality. When I saw Zhang Guo, I saw that he was very old. I suddenly wondered, "Mr. Zhang is a man of virtue. Why is he so old?" Zhang Guolao said: "I got the right way when I lost my teeth and lost my hair, so I had to do it. If your majesty doesn't like it, I might as well do it all. " So he pulled out his hair and shot down his teeth in front of the hall. Xuanzong was a little afraid and asked someone to help Zhangguo to have a rest. After a while, Zhang Guolao came back to the palace. As expected, he had a new face, green temples and white teeth, which was better than his prime. Zhang Guolao claimed that he was "born in Yao when Bingzi was old and was a servant." Zhang Guolao lived from Yao to Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty. How old should he be! Zhang Guo often rides a donkey upside down for tens of thousands of miles a day. Interestingly, when he arrives at his destination, he folds the donkey like an origami and hides it in a towel box. When he rides, he takes it out and blows his breath. Then it turns into a real donkey. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty once granted the title of "Mr. tongxuan" to doctor Yinqing Guanglu. His stories can be found in the Ming Huang Za Lu, the old Tang Shu and the new Tang Shu.
There are many legends about how Zhang Guo always became an immortal. According to legend, Zhang Guo was born in poverty and lived by driving donkeys to transport goods. One day, he passed a small temple. The meat in the temple was delicious. He pushed the door into the temple and saw a pot of white meat stewing in an iron pot. Old Zhang Guo was hungry. Seeing that there was no one around, he ate up with a stick and ate up a pot of delicious white meat. The rest of the soup was also fed to the donkey. Where does Zhang Guo know that what he eats is the "goblin baby meat" that blooms once every 1000 years and bears fruit once every 3000 years. If he eats it, he can live forever and become an immortal! This legend is similar to monkey eating ginseng fruit.
Zhang Guo is also regarded as the Grandmaster of storytelling and Daoqing. It is said that Tang Xuanzong wanted to marry Princess Yuzhen to Zhang Guolao, but Zhang Guolao refused. He beat the drum
