Du minqiu (about 1039-1101) was born in Qingshen County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. After Du Fu, he was honest and upright.

Lu Tao's epitaph of Du Gong, who asked Lang Tongchuan Fu Lu to point out the penalty prison, says that he first came from Du's Fu Zi Mei in Tang Dynasty, and lived in Jiannan when Emperor suzong was in Tang Dynasty, and lived in the west of Chengdu; he left his second son in xiajiangling to guard Chengdu, and Yang Zilin's rebellion, avoiding the Daya in Dongshan, where he ran to eyebrow. Later, he buried Qingshen, so he became Qingshen. Therefore, Du min is a descendant of Du Wei (who moved to Qingshen), the son of Du Fu, a great poet of Tang Dynasty. His father's name is missing. He has a good family education since childhood, and he is smart and studious. He can write poems at the age of seven. As an adult, he is famous for his erudition and talent in Meizhou.

The name of Du minqiu's son is missing, and his grandson Du Shenlao's history of the Song Dynasty has a biography. In the history of Song Dynasty, volume 387, biography 146, biography of Du Shenlao, it is said that Du Shenlao was the Qingshen man in Meizhou and the 13th grandson of Tang Gongbu Fu. This also shows that Du min is after Du Fu.

In 1061, he left home for Bianjing (now Kaifeng City, Henan Province) to take the examination. He was appointed to Jianzhou (now Jianyang County, Sichuan Province) and joined the army. Later, Du minqiu successively served as magistrate of Shifang county and professor of Chengdu government. Please go to Dingzhou, Hebei Province. He moved to the court to ask for a doctor (Wensan official name, which was established in the Sui Dynasty, and zhengqipinshang in the Song Dynasty), Taixue (Taixue was the highest institution of learning), and transferred to tongchuanfu road for some prison besides Zizhou road. Huizong of Song Dynasty died in the first year of Jingguo in Jianzhong, at the age of 63.

As for the year of Du minqiu's birth and death, it is said that he "died in the first year of Jingguo (1101) in Huizong Jianzhong", and it is said that he "moved tongchuanfu road to raise some prison". Tongchuanfu road was established in 1118. Therefore, there is a little conflict in the records of Du minqiu's birth and death, which can only be rough and uncertain.
