He Zhongju was a scholar in Tiancheng Middle School of the later Tang Dynasty. He was an official of Chu. He was a Bachelor of Tiance government. He was a governor and poet of Quanzhou and Hengzhou in the Five Dynasties. Yingdao (now hunandao county) people.
Life of the characters
When he was 13 years old, he was arrested in prison for his family's overdue tax payment. Li Honggao, the county magistrate, ordered him to write a poem, saying, "if yu comes to prison, he'll leave his family and be in prison.". In the period of Tiancheng (926-930) of the later Tang Dynasty, he went to Luoyang to write poems to Li Congrong, the king of Qin. In the fourth year of Changxing (933 AD), he became a Jinshi and presented poems to Li Congrong, the king of Qin. Li Congrong, the king of Qin Dynasty, gave his hometown Jinxian and his hometown Hualong, which were highly praised by people at that time.
Later, due to the coup in Luoyang, he returned to Hunan. Soon afterwards, Ma Xifan, the king of Chu, was appointed as one of the 18 scholars of Tiance Prefecture, and served as governor of Quanzhou and Hengzhou. At that time, there were many poets in Chu, and he Zhongju's poems in his later years were almost diluted. For example, there was a sentence in "looking at the night in autumn" that "the trees welcome the birds to the deep field, and the clouds cross the distant mountains by the setting sun". Li Honggao praised it and called it "the lofty poet".
Main works
He Zhongju's poetry anthology exists. In the whole Tang poetry, the author selected one of his "trial poems" and the verses of "offering to the king of Qin" and "looking at the autumn evening".
