Zhang Yuanyi, born in September 1928, was engaged in translation work in 1951. He is good at English and translation examination.

From 1951 to 1969, he was responsible for revising publications such as the Taiwan issue, opposing two Chinas, supporting the just struggle of the Arab people, and supporting the struggle of the Panamanian and Latin American people.
