Liu Duan
Liu Duan (165-107 BC), the son of Liu Qi, Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty, was granted the title of King Jiaoxi after Zhou Yafu pacified the rebellion of the seven kingdoms. According to historical records, Liu Duan was "a violent man with impotence. He was close to a woman and had been ill for several months. He was lucky enough to be a young man. Lang and Hougong were in chaos, and Duan qinmie and his children were killed.
Life of the characters
Liu Duan was appointed king of Jiaoxi as a prince after the rebellion of Wu and Chu was defeated in 154 BC. Liu Duan was cruel and suffered from impotence. As soon as he came into contact with a woman, he became ill for several months. He had a favorite young man, who was appointed Lang Guan. Liu Duan killed him and killed his son and mother. Liu Duan repeatedly violated the emperor's decree, and the ministers of the Han Dynasty repeatedly asked to kill him. The emperor did not have the heart to do so because he was a brother, so Liu Duan's behavior was more excessive. The officials asked twice to take away his territory, so they took away most of his fiefdom. Liu Duan had a grudge in his heart, so he no longer calculated and managed the domestic money. All the treasuries collapsed, and the decayed property was counted in billions, but it was not sorted out in the end. He also ordered the officials not to collect rents and taxes. Liu Duan removed all the guards, closed the Palace door, leaving only one door, and wandered out of the palace from there. He changed his name many times, pretended to be a civilian and went to other counties.
Liu Duan always found out their sins and reported them to the imperial court if they went to Jiaoxi to serve as prime minister and two thousand stone level officials. If they could not find their sins, they set up a trick to poison them with drugs. His methods of scheming are extremely changeable. He is strong enough to refuse the advice of others, and clever enough to cover up his own mistakes. If the prime minister and two thousand stone level officials obey the royal law to govern the political affairs, they will be framed and punished by the court. Therefore, although Jiaoxi is a small country, there are many 2000 stone level officials killed and injured.
Liu Duan died in the 47th year of his reign. Finally, because he had no son to inherit the throne, the feudal state was abolished, and the feudal land was incorporated into the imperial court and became Jiaoxi county.
