In the early years of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (around 318 A.D.), Zhang Kang went to the South and paid homage to Sanqi. According to Wang Yin's Jinshu: "Zhang Zaidi's former Wu Cheng Lingkang was praised according to Cai Yong's notes on Mingtang Yueling and Zhongtai Yaozhui. Xunzong, the Secretary Supervisor, also believed in the meaning of the calendar." Xun song recommended him to lead Zuo Zuo Lang, to make up for Wu Cheng Ling, to serve as a general servant, and to lead Zuo works.
Zhang kangwen was not as talented as his two elder brothers, but he also wrote books and was proficient in music and acrobatics. He was also called "three Zhang" together with Zhang Zai and Zhang Xie. Li Zan is an article, and the biography of Jin Shu can be found in Lu Li Zhi, which is not detailed. There are two volumes of Zhang Kang's collection in the book of Sui, and two volumes of Zhang Kang's collection in the book of Tang.
