Sun Chengen
Sun Chengen (1481-1561), named Zhenfu and yizhai, was born in Songjiang (now Shanghai) and Sun Yanzi. In the sixth year of Zhengde (1511), he was a Jinshi, an editor, and a minister of rites. He was also in charge of Zhan Shifu. In the 32nd year of Jiajing, zhaigong set up a Jiao ceremony. He refused to obey the orders and wear Taoist clothes, so he was dismissed. Shi Wenjian. He died at the age of 81.
Social evaluation
Posterity commented that his calligraphy was vigorous, without fiber and flattery, especially with ancient meaning.
