Shen Zhen (1400 -?) Zhenji, a Taoist of Nanzhai and Taoran, was born in Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu Province) and the uncle of the painter Shen Zhou. He was good at poetry and writing, and was good at painting things. He took Dong Yuan's method for landscape painting, which was especially popular in the Yuan Dynasty. He and his younger brother Hengji (father of Shen Zhou) were very famous for their poems and CI. They sang and rewarded each other, which was called "Cuan Zhen Xiangying" at that time.

Bamboo stove Mountain House
Paper color, vertical 115.5 cm, horizontal 35 cm. Collected by Liaoning Provincial Museum. In this picture, there are mountains and old trees. Ye Zhu's business is brisk around Shanfang. In the upper right corner of the running script, the title is Shen Zhen's painting in Nanzhai, with two seals of white and Zhu Wenyin. Shen Zhen's handed down works are rare. This painting was made in Kunling as a gift to master Puzhao. The style of this painting is very distinctive, close to that of Liu Jue and Du Qiong, so that we can find out the origin of Shen Zhou's painting style and understand the context connecting the past and the future.

The stream rises from the dense forest on the top of the mountain and turns into a waterfall in QianChuan. It goes straight down through the clouds. Between the mountainside and the valley, there was a cloud. In the painting, the brushwork is elegant, the description is precise, the ink color is light, the color is elegant, the scenery is strange and the layout is stable, and the realm is quiet and deep. On the top of the picture, the painter wrote: "the frost of autumn forest is heavy, the leaves are scarred, the white hair is rustling, and the two old people are idle. There's nothing wrong with shaking hands and meeting each other. It's not about water, it's more about mountains. " It's interesting. In this picture, there are mountains, old trees, bamboo leaves around the mountain house, and business is brisk. In the upper right corner of the running script, the title is Shen Zhen's money from Nanzhai, with two seals of white and Zhu Wenyin. There are few handed down works by Shen Zhen.
