Wu Changrong (1912-1947), male, Party member, was born in Dadong village, Dachi Township, Longyan County, Fujian Province.
In June 1929, he took part in the revolutionary struggle and served as a member of the Red Guard of workers and peasants in Dachi District, Longyan county. In 1947, he was arrested and killed by the enemy in the struggle against "suppression" and died a martyr.

In June 1929, he took part in the revolutionary struggle and served as a member of the Red Guard of workers and peasants in Dachi District, Longyan county. He participated in the agrarian revolutionary struggle in the Western Fujian revolutionary base and the guerrilla war against "encirclement and suppression" in the Central Soviet area. After the long march of the Central Red Army in October 1934, he served as the joint between the underground party organization in Longyan and the Red Army guerrillas, and participated in the three-year guerrilla war in the West Fujian guerrilla area. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, the main guerrilla force of the Red Army in southwest Fujian was reorganized into the second detachment of the New Fourth Army and went north to Jiangsu and Anhui to resist Japan. Wu Changrong stayed in West Fujian to participate in the Anti Japanese and national salvation activities. After the "Minxi incident" in January 1941 (referring to the incident of Kuomintang diehards attacking Minxi special committee in January 1941), he turned to covert struggle and took part in the anti stubborn self-defense guerrilla war in Minxi guerrilla area. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, the Kuomintang launched a civil war and continued to serve as the secret contact of the West Fujian detachment of the column of the Fujian Guangdong Jiangxi border region. It took part in the anti civil war and self-defense struggle in the West Fujian guerrilla base.
