Shuangqing, an East Asian population, originated in China, is a grape variety bred from wild Vitis amurensis in 1963 by the Institute of specialty, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in cooperation with Changbai Mountain Winery. It was officially named in 1975. It can be used to make wine.

The young shoots are purplish red and the mature branches are brown. The young leaves are yellowish green, densely villous; the mature leaves are large, round, the leaf margin is upward curved, slightly funnel-shaped, the sawtooth is blunt, the petiole is hollow and closed elliptic; the autumn leaves are red. Distribution range
Only a few of them are cultivated in Northeast China.
Fruit characters
The fruit is small, cone-shaped, 11 cm long, 8 cm wide, and 150g in weight; the berry is loose, small, round, blue black, and 130g in weight; the skin is slightly thick, the fruit powder is rich, the juice is purplish red, sour, with the aroma of Vitis amurensis; the sugar content is 104-163g / L, the acid content is 18-25g / L, and the juice yield is 50% - 60%; each fruit has 1-2 seeds, which are medium-sized and brownish red. cultivation techniques
The growth of the plant is weak and the budding rate is high. The average number of inflorescences per fruiting branch was 2.5, and the yield was medium (higher than that of Vitis amurensis). The adaptability, disease resistance and cultivation form of Vitis amurensis were better than those of Vitis amurensis. It is suitable to erect and small shed, and prune medium and short shoots.
