Huang Shixian also sent traffic officers from the Liaison Station to contact Shao Defu, Qi Ming, Li Guanyi, Liu Lifeng and other early party leaders in the county, which made the work in the southwest of the county vigorous. At the end of 1939, Huang Shixian took up the post of commander of the Third Battalion of the expanded military camp of the South Yimeng office. He made great contributions to expanding the Anti Japanese armed forces, raising guns, ammunition and materials, and working hard day and night by virtue of his close contacts with celebrities and enlightened gentry.
