Gao Shize (1080-1144) was born in Mengcheng, Bozhou (now Mengcheng County, Anhui Province). He was granted the title of son of Gao Gongji, king of Pu'an Prefecture, and nephew of empress xuanren shenglie.

After Yingzong, the family of Gao, who was young, was able to supplement the Zuoban temple with kindness. He went to chongban in the inner hall and learned about the western shanghemen affairs. When Emperor Gaozong was the king of Kang, he was an envoy to Jin and later a counsellor of Marshal's office. Emperor Gaozong ascended the throne and raised the view of longevity. In the second year of Shaoxing (1132), except Baojing army, he served as Xuanshi and Wenzhou. Six years later, he served as an envoy of Wanshou temple. In the ninth year, he entered Kaifu with the third division. In the court, please give the second Lin'an. Ten years later, he was sentenced to Wenzhou again. He was cured of his illness and became an envoy of Wanshou temple. In the fourteenth year, he was called to the throne and died. He was sixty-five years old.
