Ma Jingzhi (1825-1903), named Jixi and Shaoshu, was born in Zhaoyi village, Guxin Town, Shexian county. In his childhood, he was intelligent, ambitious and hardworking. He once said to people, "a Confucian scholar is a scholar. He should help the world and be famous in the world! "He was a scholar at the age of 21 and a student of en gong at the age of 25. He received a monthly salary and later became a candidate for the main hall of Confucianism.

Ma Jingzhi set up an account to give lectures. He has cultivated peaches and plums for more than 40 years. He has only set up a museum in Xiong'er temple for nine years. If we often teach without the textbook, we can recite the notes of the four books like a stream, and teach people tirelessly. Filial piety, loyalty and faithfulness are the most important elements in persuading people to do things. Living in a temple for many years, he advocates godlessness, non worship of God and non belief in evil. He is well-known in the world. There are hundreds of scholars, of whom 43 are scholars and Gongsheng. All living beings never forget their kindness and present the gold plaque of "jiangzhang Gaofeng". Ma Jingzhi lived in his hometown in his later years. He treated people leniently, had strict laws, and was simple, honest, courteous and thrifty. He often gives relief to poor neighbors; when people fight, he judges right and wrong; when people are violent, they fear their integrity, and the common people believe in their fairness and kindness, so they are deeply loved by the masses. He is good at teaching his children and strict in running his family. It is required to abide by the "Ten Rules of family model" from generation to generation. For example, "between father and son, it's better to be kind to the father"; "food and daily life should be thrifty, not extravagant"; "to teach children or farming or reading, it's better to have a long career, not to idle"; "to teach children, it's better to choose a strict teacher, not to indulge and indulge"; "every year, it's better to live within our means, not to make money sit empty" and so on. Under his education and advocacy, he has been a good scholar for generations, cultivated and read his family, produced a large number of talents and prospered his family, which can be regarded as a model in the countryside.
