Ma Jiaosi was born in Tongcheng City, Anhui Province. He was a Jinshi in the 18th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1679). He has been the official of the examination, the compilation of the book, and the Daily commentary. His works include 20 volumes of Wenji, 40 volumes of Jishi benmo, 2 volumes of Dengyun jieyao, 8 volumes of Guxue Lei Jie, 16 volumes of Qunshu Jicui, 6 volumes of zhuzhaizazu and 1 volume of Wantong Youzhen Lu.
