Rao Tingzhi
The word Chao bi was born in the late Northern Song Dynasty. His birth and death are unknown. His family is in the territory of Ouxi township.
Rao Ting was a Jinshi in the second year of Shaoxing (1132) of the Southern Song Dynasty. He was the magistrate of Dengzhou and the magistrate in the eleventh year of Shaoxing (1142). At that time, the Southern Song Dynasty ceded Tang and Deng prefectures to the Jin people. The Jin people forced Rao Tingzhi to hand over Dengzhou. Rao Tingzhi still held fast to the city without the order of the imperial court. He wrote the shanglin'an watch and sent people to the capital from the trail to explain the whole story. In the end, he committed suicide and died for his duty.
