Yan Peng is a poet of Tang Dynasty. Wu Jun (now Suzhou), brother Yan Xuan. The year of birth and death is unknown.

brief introduction

He was a close friend of the famous poet Zhang Hu, and was known to Zhang Hu when he was young. Later, he ascended the Jinshi Section. When Zhao Zong Jingfu was in charge of the imperial examination, he served as shangshulang, the governor of Hezhou, the Minister of rites, the doctor of Yubu, and zhizhigao. In the third year of Guanghua (900), he moved to Zhongshu and gave worship to Shizhong. Later, he was relegated and died outside the lake. Yan Pengneng is good at poetry and writing. When he was a scholar in the middle school, he made dozens of grass, which was no harm to talking and laughing. He and Lu guimeng were friends of poetry, Lu Zui and Peng were steles of calligraphy. He was also a poetry friend with the poet monk Shang Yan, who died and wrote a preface to the collection of Yan Shangren. There is a poem and a couplet in Quan Tang Shi, and a poem and four couplets in Quan Tang Shi Xu Shi.
