1835-1902, meaning Xuan, nicknamed Wangmei, was born in Guiyang, Guizhou Province in the Qing Dynasty. After repeated trials, he was appointed magistrate of Yangshuo, Luorong, Cangwu, Qianjiang and Zhili Prefecture. He was good at poetry and could write books. He was very close to Yuan Siwei and Yan Shizhu, who were painters and calligraphers at that time. He once wrote a couplet in Guilin Academy. Both the book and the words were highly valued by the world. Jin Longsheng recorded them in Li Xiang Er Bi.
Yan Sihui (1835-1902) was born in Guiyang, Guizhou Province in the Qing Dynasty. He is an orphan. He is filial to his mother and diligent in learning. In the ninth year of tongzhi (1870 A.D.), Jieyuan (the first place of Ju ren) went northward in the 12th and 13th years (1873-1874 A.D.) after repeated trials, he was granted the title of Baozhi county and the title of Wupin. He was appointed to Yangshuo, Luorong, Cangwu and Qianjiang counties of Guangxi, and returned to Zhizhou of Zhili Prefecture. In 1882, 1889 and 1894, three examiners were appointed as the same examiners of the rural examination. They got many corporal. Xu Yaqi, fan Jiazuo, Wang Xuecheng and Li Jinian all went out. He is good at poetry and can write books. He was very close to Yuan Siwei and Yan Shizhu, who were painters and calligraphers at that time. He once wrote a couplet in Guilin Academy. Both the book and the words are highly valued by the world. Jin Hongsheng recorded them in Li Xiang Er Bi, including Wangmei thatched cottage collection, Wenji, self compiled chronicles, Shiyu, Lianyu, qiozi Lianyin, Zhuo Shiyu, fangyuxi Shengti collection, etc《 Qianjiang county annals and Guishun Prefecture annals, etc.
