Sun Qi, whose name is Jingxiu, was born in Changsha (now Hunan). Born in Dazhong Xiangfu years, Zhenzong Xianping Jinshi. Around the fifth year of Xining (1072), he served as the governor of Guiyang, and was transferred to Taichang Shaoqing of Chaosheng. In the ninth year of Xining (1076), Taichang Shaoqing went out to guard Xiangzhou. In the first year of Yuanfeng (1078), he was transferred to Hubei by Jingdong West Road. In the fourth year of Yuanfeng (1081), he was transferred to Jingnan by Hubei Deputy envoy. In the seventh year of Yuanfeng (1084), he was transferred to Guangzhou by zhilongtuge. He once toured Lutou mountain, carved Zhuowang's inscription on the rock, and painted it. His good friend Liu Zhilan later wrote two poems, sun Shaoqing's poems and paintings of Lutou mountain. It is also said that the mountain is too high, so the east tower should be built after adding the seven levels of futu. He was also a famous scholar at that time. He wrote Gu Jin Jia Jie and Chao Qi Chang He Ji, and was friendly with Su Zhe, Zeng Gong and Liu Zhi.
